Why visit Futuroscope?

Enjoy a huge variety of experiences

Futuroscope offers all the fun of a theme park with plenty of real educational value, making it the perfect choice for a school trip and one of our favourite options for a school trip to France!

At Futuroscope, your students can learn more about the Earth and space, seeing the planet through the eyes of the European Space Agency’s youngest astronaut.

They’ll explore everyday technologies of the future and partner with 9-time World Rally Driver’s Champion Sebastien Loeb (in virtual reality, before you wonder where to start with the risk assessment on that one!).

They’ll learn more about the history of electricity and how to meet the growing energy needs of our industrialised world, while also protecting the planet. They can even dance with robots and time travel!

They’ll enter the last uncharted territories on Earth through spectacular 3D images, explore the ocean depths to see some of the most exotic creatures on the planet and even discover the mystery of the Nile by canoeing its waters.

Practice French listening skills

Many of the shows and attractions are accompanied by French commentary, which is fantastic for groups on French school trips to the Loire and Futuroscope.

Translation sets are also available, so all attractions are accessible even for those who don’t speak French.

Your school trip to Futuroscope will certainly be an unforgettable educational experience for your students.

Inspire your media studies students

The theme park is a fascinating option for a media studies school trip thanks to its focus on communication, film and technology.

Your students will have the opportunity to discover more about film and TV production, technological advances in the production process, targeting and reaching audiences and advertising and marketing.
