High in the mountains lies the world-famous Montserrat Monastery,Catalonia’s most important religious retreat. When the Escolania Boy’s Choir is not in residence, good standard choirs are permitted to perform a 10 minute recital.

Barcelona's cathedral is a celebrated example of Catalan Gothic architecture. It is located in the heart of the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, not far from La Rambla. Choirs can perform a 45 minute concert in the afternoon and achoir organ is available to use.

The square is situated on the promenade by the sea. Concerts take place in the evening, so your group can enjoy a full day of activities. International music is always well received by locals and tourists.

The coastal town of Platja d’Aro welcomes groups to perform throughout the year in the main square, which is well known for hosting culturalevents. As such, concerts are well attended by locals and tourists, especially during the summer months.

Girona Cathedral
This cathedral is amazing. Its nave is the second widest in the world and its paintings and sculptures amongst the most exquisite in Spain. The facade of the cathedral is in the Baroque style but the remainder of the building is Gothic. The chancel was built in the 14th century and Guillem Bofill added the single nave in 1416. At the back of the altar is a marble throne and in the chancel is a fine silver and enamel altarpiece.

Almudena Cathedral
The magnificent Almudena Cathedral of Madrid islocated in the heart of the city by the Royal Palace. The royal wedding of Prince Felipe (now King Felipe VI)took place there in 2004. Choirs with a sacred repertoire are invited to sing at Mass.

Theoldest church in Madrid, located in the old part of the city, is justa short walk from Plaza Major. It is a very popular venue for choirs and has excellent acoustics.

Sitges, the 'St Tropez of Spain', is located southwest of Barcelona and is wellknown for its film festival. The covered stage is located in the heart of the town and concerts take place in the evening.
