A school water sports tour to Lee Valley offers your students the opportunity to try their hands at a number of new activities at an Olympic facility!

Built to host the canoe slalom events of the London 2012 Olympics, Lee Valley White Water Centre boasts some of the best facilities for water sports in the UK. You’ll be able to try stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and white water rafting. Plus, you’ll enjoy some team building activities, such as raft building.

Accommodation is onsite, in purpose-built group accommodation, so you won’t be far from the action. And for something a little different, why not add in a visit to Warner Brothers Studio, to learn about the making of the Harry Potter films?

Split over six wooden lodge-style buildings YHA London Lee Valley is approximately 20-minutes by train from central London. Nearby, guest have plenty of access to green spaces and local watersports, as well as of course good transportation links to the capital's attractions. Guests can stay in shared dormitories, private rooms or book an individual lodge building. Free Wi-Fi available in shared social spaces.

Launching your tour to parents and students

The next step is to get your tour approved and then get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. Here you’ll find loads of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the planning process.

After
you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start working on the finer details. They’ll make sure your itinerary makes the most of your time and they’ll take on most of the admin tasks for your tour (making the whole process a lot less stressful for you).

Support while
you’re away

While you’re out on tour, we’ll be at the end of the phone 24 hours a day to provide support should you need it. We’ll also send you a final info pack before you go and you’ll be able to access all your tour documents via the free Vamoos app.
