26th -30th October 2025
This Sport Challenge Series event is a netball festival that's fun, inclusive and will leave your netballers inspired.
It takes place in Torrevieja, on Spain’s spectacular Costa Blanca. As well as incredible beaches, amazing food and everything else you’d expect from one of Spain’s top resorts, Torrevieja is home to a fantastic sporting complex, with world-class facilities.
Your training sessions will be led by Vicki Wilson, one of the best shooters the game has ever seen and a staple of the Australian national side for 15 years. She’s also coached the Fijian national team. She’ll inspire your netballers (and there’s also a ‘coach the coaches’ opportunity for you to take advantage of her expertise).
The tournament takes place on 26th – 30th October 2025 and you can even bring your rugby and football teams along to make this a multisport experience. So, shall we start planning?

The Sport City Complex in sunny Torrevieja boasts incredible facilities perfect for school netball teams seeking a top-tier venue for training or competition.
The complex features well-maintained outdoor courts that meet international standards, well-equipped changing rooms and spectator seating. With such impressive surroundings, your netballers won't fail to be inspired.
Between matches and training sessions, players can visit the Halsbury Skills Zone to participate in various challenges, from ball skills and footwork to teamwork activities. They can test themselves against teammates and opponents, all under the guidance of a Halsbury Skills Coordinator. The Skills Zone offers a fun and engaging break from competition, designed to improve individual skills, enhance team bonding and sharpen their competitive edge. Even teachers can join in the fun.
Just 100m from the sea, Hotel Playa Torrevieja is the ideal base for your group. The spectacular Playa de la Mata is just 250m away and the centre of Torrevieja and all its attractions. The hotel's facilities are excellent and include an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout, spacious lounges and meeting rooms available to hire. The on-site restaurant offers buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and, although there is a focus on Spanish cuisine, there should be plenty to satisfy even the fussiest eaters. All guestrooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms and balconies offering spectacular views across the pool towards the Mediterranean Sea.
Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in school sports tours and will know the destination really well too. They’ll work with you to create a tour to suit your group’s needs and meet your tour objectives.
The next step is to get your tour approved and then get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. Here you’ll find loads of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the planning process.
Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start working on the finer details. They’ll make sure your itinerary makes the most of your time and they’ll take on most of the admin tasks for your tour (making the whole process a lot less stressful for you).
While you’re out on tour, we’ll be at the end of the phone 24 hours a day to provide support should you need it. We’ll also send you a final info pack before you go and you’ll be able to access all your tour documents via the free Vamoos app.
When you return from your sports tour, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, which helps us continue to improve the service we offer. And we can start planning your next tour too, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and so it’s less stressful for you).
