Ski trip to Voss

Halsbury Sticker

Enjoy a real Nordic adventure on your next school ski trip. In the heart of Norway’s fjord country lies the stunning resort of Voss. Surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes and fast-flowing rivers, Voss is Northern Europe’s capital of adventure sports. A smaller resort by alpine standards, Voss is still the largest resort in Western Norway and you’ll find an incredible amount of diversity packed into the 40km of groomed piste here. The village itself is ideal for school groups – it’s full of character and has plenty of shops, restaurants and après-ski activities to keep them all entertained, while feeling safe.

Skiing in Voss

Voss is a great option for late-season skiing – the slopes are open from December until April and are mostly south-facing, making the most of the sunshine. The 40km of groomed piste is best for beginners and intermediates, especially with the easy runs at the top of the mountain, but there’s a surprising amount of diversity here. The fantastic instructors all speak good English and the commute from your accommodation will be super easy thanks to the gondola station in the centre of the resort. A real highlight of Voss is the floodlit pistes which allow for night skiing a couple of times a week.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up. Our Trip Launch Pack is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, gear hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re away, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. Plus, our HQ staff will be on available by phone, 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.
