While Monte Bondone appears, on paper at least, to be a relatively small resort, it packs a real punch when it comes to school ski trips. The resort offers 20km of skiing on quiet slopes which is great news for your students and their progression, as it means they won't be wasting time in lift queues. All slopes are north-facing and completely covered by snow cannons, meaning that Monte Bondone is able to virtually guarantee snow for your trip.

Hotel Dolomiti Chalet
Based in the village of Vason, Italy, the Hotel Dolomiti Chalet is popular with skiers and is located just 20m from the Monte Bondone ski lifts. There is also a dedicated beginners' area just across the road from the hotel. While the area is famous as a ski resort, Vason has plenty of sites to see, such as MUSE – Science Museum and the Cattedrale di San Vigilio. There are four room options: superior double room, triple room, quadruple room with bunk bed, and standard double room. The hotel boasts panoramic views of the mountains and its on-site restaurant serves up classic Italian dishes, as well as local dishes from South Tyrol.

After you’ve booked
Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, gear hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).
Support while you’re away
While you’re away, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. Plus, our HQ staff will be on available by phone, 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.
After your trip
When you return, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
