There are a number of shops and restaurants and plenty of après-ski activities to keep your students entertained when they’re not skiing. The resort sits at an altitude of 1760m, with the top station at 2849m so, as you would expect, the snow conditions are usually very good. The area does, in general, have an excellent snow record and, with many north-facing slopes, tends to keep snow well. Thanks to the Monti Della Luna pass, you’ll have access to over 110km of pistes, including Claviere and Cesana. Any first-timers in your group will love the beginners’ area, which is both snow-reliable and uncrowded. For the more experienced skiers there are plenty of blues, reds and even Olympic runs. And there’s a great variety of high, wide, open pistes and attractive tree-lined runs back to the village. Your pass will give you one day’s skiing in Montgenèvre and one days’ skiing in the whole of the Milky Way, to which Claviere is one of the access points. We can include a 6-day Milky Way pass for a small supplement.

Just 500m from the centre of Claviere and 5 minutes' walk from the ski school meeting point, the Hotel Clari is ideally located for your school ski trip. Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
