There are some excellent beginner zones here, which lead on to long, wide blue runs, offering great progression for learners and making this ideal for a school ski holiday. There is also a number of challenging black runs. Les Arcs is known for its spectacular verticals and these are, perhaps, best enjoyed by intermediates who have a brilliant choice of runs. The Apocalypse terrain park is excellent for snowboarders. One of the best terrain parks in the Alps, there are also a couple of boardercross runs here too. Plus, jump on the Vanoise Express cable car and you’ll arrive in La Plagne less than five minutes later, opening up a total of 425km of skiable piste!

UCPA Les Arcs 1600

Les Arcs UCPA is located in Les Arcs 1600, right on the piste and could not be more ski in - ski out! The centre is purpose built for youth groups and students are accommodated in rooms of 4 in bunk beds, with shower and toilet facilities on each floor.There is a great vibe throughout the centre which has been refurbished to an excellent standard. It has three dining rooms, communal rooms, TV room, pool tables and table football, a disco and bar area.In addition, the UCPA staff lay on an entertainment program every evening in the week: crepe making, quiz, sketching, karaoke, disco, snow soccer, and bum boarding to name but a few. The other benefits include having on-site ski hire and dedicated ski instructors who live at the centre.Free Wifi access is also included in your package.

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
