Skiing in Les 2 Alpes

Thanks to the great variety of slopes to suit all abilities, your students are certain to have a great skiing experience on their school ski trip to Les 2 Alpes, whatever their current level. Some of the easiest skiing is actually higher up, on and around the glacier. This is a great location, as beginners can learn against the amazing backdrop of the High Alps, instead of a shaded slope on the outskirts of a village, as can sometimes be the case. Offering 220km of piste and a glacier, as well as a snowpark that your snowboarders will love, Les 2 Alpes really is a spectacular resort and a brilliant option for your next ski trip.

Typical program would include stretching in the early evening, crepe making, quiz, sketch evening, karaoke and some evenings a live band.Equally in the town there is a great selection of bars & nightclubs to suit all tastes.

Hotel Atmosphere

This cosy little hotel couldn't be in a more central location (one of the best located hotels that we feature!) being right in the very centre of Les 2 Alpes, and only 150 metres from the lifts and ski school meeting point. All the rooms have been tastefully decorated, with flat screen TV, ensuite bathroom and new parquet flooring in all rooms, and a key card entry system. The main entrance is on the main Les 2 Alpes street, whilst access to the slopes is from the rear of the hotel - a quick walk around the ice rink brings you to the Jandri Express Lift and the bottom of the slopes and the ski school meeting point. The hotel has a new reception area opening onto a large bar lounge, and next the restaurant. There is a large outdoor terrace with tables and chairs, an ideal meeting area during the day. There is a pool table and table football in the reception area.On the lower level there is a brand new wellness centre with sauna, haman, relax therapy shower and jacuzzi (teachers use only, supplement applies). On the same floor, in addition to the wellness area there is a new large room that groups can use for activities, with seating for approximately 40/45 people for DVD nights, quiz etc.

every step of the way

Creating your perfect ski trip

Your quote will be put together by an experienced Tour Adviser who’ll be an expert in skiing trips and knows our resorts really well. They’ll work with you to create a trip to suit your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After
your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).

Let's chat!

Les Deux Alpes is a fantastic resort for school groups. One of the best towns for après-ski activities. The slopes have enough variation for all levels of skiing and having returned here for the 2nd time, I can safely say it's one of our favourites. The hotel was easy walking distance. The resort was very quiet when we were there, never once queuing for a lift/cable car. The instruction from the ski school was fantastic and our students progressed beyond expectation.
