Ski trip to Stoneham

Halsbury Sticker

As you ski across the four mountain faces that make up Stoneham, you won’t believe that you’re just 20 minutes away from downtown Quebec. But that’s what makes this medium-sized resort so charming. On a school ski trip to Stoneham, you’ll combine skiing with the fascinating experience of discovering Quebecois culture in one of the province’s most exciting cities. Stoneham has a great reputation for the quality of both its skiing and snowboarding, and has hosted several international competitions, including the Snowboard FIS World Cup Finals, which have been held here every year since 2007.

Skiing in Stoneham

Suitable for all abilities, Stoneham is a great resort for learners, thanks to the excellent ski school here. You’ll find 42 trails across three mountains, with plenty of terrain to suit all abilities and type of skier/snowboarder. Plus, there’s three brilliant terrain parks and an Olympic half-pipe, which is a whopping 22 feet high! For something a little more sedate, but by no means less memorable, make sure you enjoy a spot of night-skiing – with 19 trails Stoneham is Canada’s largest night-skiing network. You won’t need to worry about snow cover either on your school ski holiday to Stoneham – if Mother Nature refuses to play ball, the resort’s snow-making facilities cover 86% of the skiable terrain.

every step of the way

Creating your perfect school ski trip

Your quote will be put together by one of our experienced Tour Advisors, who know our resorts inside out. They’ll work with you to create a trip that suits your group’s needs and budget.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up. Our Trip Launch Pack is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, gear hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re away, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. Plus, our HQ staff will be on available by phone, 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After
your trip

When you return, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
