Skiing in Vallnord

Arinsal and Pal are ideal for beginners, as they both boast excellent nursery slopes set relatively high up the mountain. They enjoy good snow conditions for the entire season. And there are plenty of good blue and green runs for learners to progress on to. That being said, intermediate skiers and snowboarders will also find plenty to do in Vallnord. With 63km of marked runs, there's plenty of room for progression on the slopes, so all of your students will be able to improve at their own pace. The ski area is set in a huge snowy bowl, with loads of wide, confidence-boosting runs, all of which lead back to the main station, providing easy access to both the ski school meeting point and the restaurant where students eat their lunch overlooking the pistes.

Hotel Arinsal

The Hotel Arinsal is located right in the centre of Arinsal, just a short walk from the gondola. The hotel offers ski storage, heating and free WiFi throughout. All guestrooms benefit from an en-suite bathroom and TV. A buffet-style breakfast is served every morning.

Launching your trip to parents and students

The next step is to get your trip approved and get students signed up to it. Our ‘Trip Launch Pack’ will help you with this step. This is full of resources (all free to download) designed to make your life easier at this crucial point in the trip planning process.

After you’ve booked

Once you’ve booked, your dedicated Itinerary Coordinator will start work on the finer details. They’ll make sure your ski lessons, ski hire and après-ski activities are all sorted and they’ll take on most of the other admin tasks for your trip (so you can look forward to the trip as much as the kids).

Support while you’re away

While you’re abroad, you’ll be looked after by a Halsbury rep based in your resort. And Halsbury HQ staff will be on the end of the phone 24 hours a day. You’ll get a final info pack before you go with all the info you need, plus access to all your trip documents on the Vamoos app.

After your trip

When you return from your trip, we’ll ask you to complete a detailed feedback survey, so we can continue our service. This is also the perfect time to start planning your next trip, so you can give parents plenty of time to pay for it (and make it easier for you).
