Ski trip to Killington

Halsbury Sticker

Known as the 'Beast in the East', Killington is the largest ski resort in the Eastern USA and is famous for its long runs and uncrowded slopes. Boasting a remarkably long ski season (typically from mid-December to the end of May), so it's perhaps no surprise that the resort has fantastic snowmaking capabilities. Having said that, Killington also averages an impressive 6m of natural snow every winter. The infrastructure here's excellent too - Killington is home to North America's largest single-mountain lift system in terms of the number of lifts. So your group can crack on with skiing, rather than wasting time in long lift queues.

Ski Information Graphic

Skiing in Killington

Killington features seven distinct mountain areas, including Killington Peak - the second highest point in Vermont at a whopping 4,241 feet. This, of course, means there's a great diversity of skiing for all abilities, which is always great for school ski groups. 70 miles of trails, much of which is tree-lined, 5 terrain parks, a couple of fantastic dedicated beginner areas and some epic cruisers for intermediates mean your entire group will find plenty to keep them entertained for the whole week.
