Visit the Kennedy Space Center

Tour the Kennedy Space Center, enjoy a shuttle launch experience, take part in an astronaut encounter and much more as you explore the history of spaceflight. The Kennedy Space Center is NASA’s primary launch centre for human spaceflight, so this is an incredibly exciting visit and a must-do on a science school trip to Orlando! The visitor centre is divided into mission zones organised by chronological era, so it’s easy for your students to follow the history of space exploration!
Did you know?

In the 1960s the public could enjoy self-guided tours in their own cars along a predetermined route through Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The popularity of this led to the development of the visitor centre complex, which offers a much more immersive experience of US space exploration!

Visit Orlando Science Center

The Orlando Science Center offers four floors of exciting exhibits, incredible giant screen movies and engaging live programming! The centre’s mission is to provide exciting experiences of science and technology, thereby promoting public understanding of science. This makes it the perfect choice for a science school trip to Orlando. Your students can learn all about artificial intelligence, ‘hike’ through Florida’s ecosystems and find out how life on Earth is possible!
Did you know?

The centre also hosts regular live science shows and events to help bring the subject to life and make science even more exciting!

Visit Universal Studios

‘Ride the movies’ at this incredible theme park! Universal Studios invites guests in to go behind the scenes of world-famous movies and boasts numerous attractions, rollercoasters and live shows! The park is organised into eight themed areas, that are all centred around  a lagoon – Production Central, New York City, San Francisco, London/Diagon Alley, World Expo, Springfield, Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone and Hollywood.

Universal Studios is a working film studio with a back lot consisting of six sound stages – so, if you’re very lucky, you could be recruited as an extra!
