Fancy learning more about one of the world’s favourite cuisines?

Moroccan cuisine is a wonderful mix of Berber, Andalusian, Mediterranean, French and sub-Saharan influences. Common features include Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, halal meat including beef, goat, mutton and lamb, seafood and, of course, plenty of spices!

Your food technology students will love this opportunity to explore Moroccan culture through its food. You’ll check out the lively street food scene at Djemaa el Fna square, and at a beautiful palm grove, you’ll enjoy a special Moroccan cuisine workshop where you’ll learn more about some of the salads and cous cous dishes that make up such an important part of the national diet.
