School French Language Study Trip to Bordeaux

Halsbury Sticker

The most attractive city in France according to the French, Bordeaux has many rich treasures to explore (and we’re not just talking about the wine).

Bordeaux’s located in the Southwest of France, in the historic Aquitaine region. There’s bucket loads of history to explore here, from Roman vineyards to cave-dwelling saints. But that doesn’t mean that Bordeaux’s a stuffy old town.

In fact, it’s one of France’s liveliest student towns, so the vibe here is dynamic and youthful. Art and science thrive in Bordeaux and the affluence that the city’s port and vineyards have brought in over the centuries is evident in the spectacular cityscape. Nowhere is this better illustrated than the Port de la Lune (the harbour area), where you’ll find the imposing Place de la Bourse and the huge Miroir d’Eau (the world’s largest reflecting pool).

All this makes Bordeaux the perfect choice for your next French school trip.

Our partner language school in Bordeaux is housed in gorgeous 19th century townhouse in the heart of the Chartrons district, close to the city’s quays and Place Gambetta. It boasts excellent facilities for students, as well as highly-qualified, native French speaking teachers. Carefully-selected host family accommodation will complete the French immersion experience.
