Terms such as watershed, drainage basin, confluence and tributary will be reinforced by seeing where they sit within the river system.

In the Costa Brava, you can do a river study with your students.
The Tordera River has a relatively short course, which means your students are able to study the upper, middle and lower courses of the river, all within a relatively small area. As well as learning more about river systems, they’ll also practise important fieldwork skills, including data sampling.
