St. Peter's Basilica

This vast sixteenth-century Italian renaissance cathedral replaced an earlier structure dating from the fourth century,St. Peter's draws pilgrims and tourists alike from all over the world - and isstill the world's largest religious building. Don't miss either the famous Swiss guards or the climb to the top of the dome for a panoramic view of Rome.

It is an Anglican church with a large British Community. Music and choral singing are a vital part of the church's life. Choirs can perform a mixed repertoire. The church has an electric piano that is available to groups.

Basilica of St Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore)

The Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore (Basilica of Saint Mary Major) was founded in the 4th century and is one of five great ancient basilicas in Rome. Its exterior is 18th-century whilst inside it conceals an excellently preserved Byzantine interior.

Sant'Andrea della Valle

This wonderful Baroque Basilica is located close to Piazza Navona and is also featured in Puccini’s Opera Tosca. With a large altar space, both choirs and orchestras can perform here.

In the shadow of the ancient ruins, ensembles can perform during the summer months as part of the Estate Romana Cultural Festival.

The Hotel Esquilino has 21 rooms consisting of twins, triples and quads. Furniture is in the Venetian style. All rooms have en-suite private facilities with bath or shower and WC. They are equipped with hair dryer, mini-bar, safe, direct dial telephone and cable TV. The staff speak: Italian, English and French.
