The popular Italian resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro is located on the country’s Adriatic coast, approximately halfway between the magnificent cities of Venice and Trieste. As with many popular seaside towns, Lignano comes alive in the summer, and now your ensemble can be a part of that!

You’ll perform three evening concerts as part of a lively summer music festival. Your performances will take place at the town’s main seaside locations on specially constructed stages which all boast professional lighting and sound equipment. This is an exciting experience your ensemble will never forget!

Lignano Summer Music Festival

Time of year: JulyYour ensemble will have the opportunity to perform evening concerts as part of this vibrant music festival in the popular Italian seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Your ensemble will perform on specially constructed stages along the main seaside locations, including the iconic pier. Whichever stage you perform on, you'll benefit from professional sound and lighting systems.

St. Mark's (San Marco) Basilica

This fantastic building, mother church of the city since the early Middle Ages, blends Romanesque with Byzantine and other diverse cultural influences from Venice's far-flung maritime empire. Its campanile, or bell-tower, offers one of the finest urban panoramas anywhere.For sacred choirs, it is possible to sing mass in this prestigious venue.

Risiera di San Sabba

Originally a rice-husking plant, the Risiera di San Sabba was used as a concentration camp during WWII. Here you can find out more about the prisoners, as well as life in Trieste, and the rest of Italy, during that period.
