Looking for the school ski trip of a lifetime?
A ski safari offers your students the incredible, unforgettable experience of skiing in several different resorts on one trip.
Where can we go?
Sansicario - ski in both Italy and France!
Which resorts does this ski safari cover?
• Sansicario• Sestriere• Sauze d’Oulx• Claviere• Montgenevre
Sansicario is one of our most popular school ski resorts. A high-altitude, former Olympic resort, it was purpose-built in its location because of its snow security, good slopes and great connections to the other resorts of the Milky Way (Via Lattea) area.
Staying in traffic-free Sansicario offers your group a safe, comfortable base, while you explore over 400km of piste, which includes resorts in both Italy and France.
In Sansicario itself, you’ll enjoy long scenic motorways, as well as challenging reds that take you all the way back down to the resort centre. Sestriere offers a great variety of skiing experiences, including World Cup runs. And Sauze d’Oulx is famous for its long, sunny intermediate runs. Claviere has a great beginners’ area, as well as plenty of blues, reds and even Olympic runs. And over the border in France, intermediates will enjoy the variety of runs which often start above the treeline before descending through the trees at Montgenevre.
As all of the resorts are high-altitude, they are all known for boasting great snow conditions throughout the season.
Marilleva - ski 7 resorts in 5 days!
Which resorts does this ski safari cover?
• Marilleva• Folgarida• Madonna di Campiglio• Pinzolo• Passo Tonale• Pejo
Marilleva offers access to the Skirama Dolomiti, and this means that your students could ski as many as seven resorts in five days! As all the resorts are high-altitude, with glacier skiing at Passo Tonale, this could be a great option if you’re looking for a trip for Easter 2022.
Marilleva is a purpose-built resort and boasts excellent facilities and accommodation options. With great connections to nearby Folgarida, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo in particular, it’s a great resort for beginners and intermediates, with almost every route on the system offering a blue or red option.
Madonna di Campiglio, the ‘Queen of Snow’ is a very chic resort that is famous for its spectacular landscape. In fact, the Pinzolo-Campiglio gondola, which links it directly with the nearby resort of Pinzolo, offers panoramic views across the ski area, and is an experience not to be missed. Again, beginners and intermediates are well-catered for here. And more experienced skiers must try the 3-Tre piste, which starts as a red, before evolving into a black as it becomes the steep Canalone Miramonti – the formidable World Cup slalom course.
