Add Another Element to Your School Ski Trip - Include an Exciting Day Trip

Our final tip for adding another element to your school ski trip is to include an exciting day trip. This could be a theme park visit, a trip to a local Christmas market or a cultural visit to a local town or city.

Suitable as a stop-off for groups travelling by coach to any of the ski resorts in France and Italy, stopping off at Disneyland® Paris is a brilliant way to break up a long coach journey home.

If travelling during the festive season, you could spend a day exploring one of the local Christmas markets. Of course, not only is this the perfect opportunity to grab any last-minute presents, but it also offers a lovely insight into the local culture. Plus, the food at the Christmas markets is always fantastic!

Some of the best include Monaco’s (a fantastic day trip from Artesina) and Salzburg’s (ideal for a day trip from Stubai).

However, many of the resorts we travel to have good Christmas market options nearby – for more information on the options available from your chosen resort, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

If you’re travelling outside of the festive period but are looking for an opportunity for your students to experience the local culture, you may want to include a visit to a nearby town or city.

Of course, as well as the opportunity to explore the local culture, the larger towns and cities will also have some fantastic facilities you can choose to take advantage of.

One of our favourites is the Caldea Spa in Andorra la Vella, which is an easy day trip from any of our Andorran resorts. Perfect for relieving aching muscles at the end of an action-packed school ski trip, the spa is the largest in Europe and is very child-friendly.
