Job Description

You'll be a key member of the Halsbury Travel procurement team responsible for identifying and contracting new ski products, particularly in the Alps and primarily in Austria.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business' growth ambitions by identifying and contracting new ski products, including hotels, ski hire and instructors, primarily in the Alps (and Austria, in particular). 
  • Other key contracting projects as required by the business. 
  • Report appropriately on agreed KPIs. 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience of contacting ski product in Austria is essential -  and ideally for the groups/schools market. 
  • Experience of contracting ski product outside of Austria is desirable. 
  • Must be commercially 'savvy' and have the ability to identify growth opportunities via a good understanding of market and audience dynamics. 
  • Must be able to effectively engage people and be a strong negotiator. 
  • Must demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, effectively prioritise tasks, be resilient and handle pressure calmly and objectively. 
  • Must be a 'self-starter'. 
  • Must be a good problem solver and be able to find creative solutions when required. 
  • Must have strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills. 
  • Must have a high level of written and spoken English. 
  • Fluency in German desirable.
