A German school trip to Munich is a great alternative to visiting Berlin and offers just as much history and culture to discover!
Munich is Germany’s third largest city and capital of the state of Bavaria. Here you’ll find a more traditional, Germany with which to inspire your students. Some of the more popular visits among our groups include the Neuschwanstein fairy tale castle, made famous by Disney, and the Olympic Park, which was constructed for the 1972 Olympic Games and remains a marvel of modern German engineering.
Plus, Munich has plenty of museums, a vibrant art scene and a string of festivals throughout the year – all of which make for a diverse educational trip. And you could consider inviting your school historians on the trip to make it cross-curricular and available to more students.
